Hi, my name is Aya, an New York City Based Dance Artist. I create dances, and choreography inspired by a variety of dance styles and movement modalities. 

Mostly I like to create light hearted, entertaining and fun works. I also love all types of music and the theatrical elements of costume and space design, be it on stage, site specific or more recently in our homes (feng shui) and the digital space of dance film. 

 Dance, Yoga and Pilates keeps me grounded, sane and healthy. Fancy to join me? I am currently teaching online so you can practice with me from anywhere in the world! My classes are fun, relaxing, invigorating & mostly in the mornings!  

I also work as a teaching artist with children, older adults and people with developmental disabilities through RSC Westchester.
